About Michelle Benoit

Michelle Benoit is a bilingual, real estate professional who has lived in San Diego for 27 years. Forging long-term client relationships and making each transaction as seamless as possible is at the core of Michelle’s approach. Working with only a handful of clients at a time, Michelle ensures that each of her clients receives exceptional personalized service. Backed by a team, including a legal team, a marketing team, escrow services, title, transaction coordinators, and mortgage assistance, Michelle will work directly with you every step of the real estate transaction. In 2023, Michelle's dedication to exceptional service to her clients earned her the prestigious Honor Society Award, which recognizes the Top 14% out of approximately 50,000 realtors within the Berkshire Hathaway Global Network nationwide. Michelle studied Economics at San Diego State University, graduating with a degree and a skillset that she regularly uses to her clients’ advantage. She uses data-driven insight to know what homes are worth and where the market is heading. A former elementary and middle-school teacher, Michelle has always been passionate about using her expertise to guide people toward success. Those years in the classroom honed her skills in communication and collaboration—two core competencies of a great real estate advisor.

In 2011, Michelle began helping people buy and sell luxury real estate and founded Casas Tepoztlàn Real Estate, a boutique agency near Mexico City. In 2022, she joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties and serves the San Diego coastal communities of La Jolla, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Carmel Valley and the surrounding areas, as well as a variety of international buyers and sellers. In a luxury market where sales often depend on attracting buyers from all over the world, Michelle’s international reach gives her sellers a leg up on the competition.
Giving to her community is important to Michelle. As the mother of two teenage sons, she is deeply invested in the local school system and has volunteered on several foundations, and committees. Outside of school, she has worked with a handful of environmental groups to clean up the beaches that she loves so much. For fun, Michelle enjoys taking dance and yoga classes, as well as hiking and cooking. She also loves pickleball and plays in a local league.
